In the field of Orthodontics, UConn is considered to be one of the most prestigious programs in the world, with both past and present faculty that have established themselves as pioneers in the field. During his 3-year residency program, he also completed a Master of Dental Science degree with a focus on novel approaches to accelerate Orthodontic tooth movement.

After working for a few years in private practice as an associate, Dr. Dobie joined Dr. Rollins and together they formed dobie revolution orthodontics. Dr. Dobie is currently an adjunct faculty member in the Division of Orthodontics at the University of Connecticut. He has also given back to the Dental community for years as a board member and President of both the New Haven Dental Association and the Shoreline Dental Society.

Dr. Dobie, a native of the northeast coast of England, has lived in three countries throughout his lifetime and was exposed to many cultures throughout his childhood.

Growing up in a family with a father who is more than just a clinician in the medical profession but also a life-long researcher and professor, Dr. Dobie has always been exposed to the importance of a life oriented around both academic and professional excellence. Dr. Dobie’s pursuit of higher education began at the Pennsylvania State University where he was awarded his Bachelor of Science. Following this, he obtained a Master of Science in Pharmacology from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He was able to complete this degree despite the interruption of Hurricane Katrina, just prior to entering dental school.

Dr. Dobie has a very enthusiastic personality which carries over into his work, allowing for a fun and relaxed environment for both children and adults.

He enjoys attending multiple orthodontic conferences every year to ensure that he stays on the forefront of technology. He strives to be able to bring the latest advances back to the office to improve his patient’s care. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, skiing, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. He is also an avid sneaker collector and loves talking to patients about the latest shoes when they come for their appointments. Above all, Dr. Dobie is a people person and looks forward to connecting with his patients and parents just as much as he enjoys perfecting their smiles.

Our Mission

Beautiful smile

Love Your Smile

At dobie revolution orthodontics we recognize that the smiles we help create come from more than just treatment alone. Smiles come from straight teeth, for sure – but they also happen when we experience this process together with the shared values of friendship and humor. So when we say Love Your Smile, we are invoking all of you to embrace and improve the smile that you show to the world around you, and to reflect the caring and fun we experienced doing this together.

To ask someone to Love Your Smile is also to educate them on how it can be improved with orthodontics, how it is kept healthy with proper care, and how it should be protected during sports and other activities. If all we did were straighten teeth, our mission would be incomplete. The people we know who love their smiles the most don’t just smile with their teeth – they smile from within. Those smiles? They’re the ones that bring us the most joy.

Here at dobie revolution orthodontics, we do our very best to accomplish these goals every day, and we thank you in advance for the honor of caring for your smile!

Practice Values

We strive to fulfill 3 core values at dobie revolution orthodontics: Excellence, Excitement and Empathy.
