The superstar musician and actress wore braces in her early teen years, around 2006. Cyrus not only had visibly crooked teeth, but also an alignment problem which the braces helped fix. Now she has a superstar smile!
2. Justin Bieber
The musical heartthrob wore braces as a teenager. Even with his career starting and stardom rising, Bieber still committed to fixing his smile with braces. He corrected minor crowding and fixed his bite, making sure he had straight teeth and a bright smile ready for the biggest stages.
3. Gwen Stefani
Singer and songwriter Gwen Stefani got braces in 1999 at the age of 29. Her family couldn't afford orthodontic work when she was growing up, so she finally got the work done once she achieved stardom. She proudly showcased her braces on the red carpet for No Doubt.
4. Faith Hill
The country singer and Grammy winner famously showed off her braces on the red carpet at the February 2013 Grammy Awards after having them put on in 2012. Hill had to get braces again as an adult after not wearing her retainer following childhood braces.
5. Beyoncé
Beyoncé originally wore braces as a teenager. Years later, she wore them again for a short period of time to correct subtle alignment issues and to show solidarity with some of her younger fans. Beyoncé is a great example of how even some of the biggest stars in the world benefit from braces.

6. Katy Perry
The global superstar underwent orthodontic treatment in 2016 to address some crowding and misaligned bottom teeth. She was able to transform her smile and achieve perfectly straight teeth. Perry also humorously wore custom braces and headgear in 2011 for her “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” music video.
7. Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood wore braces during her childhood and prominently wore them again as a teenager in the late 1990s. She also wore bottom braces for a short period of time during adulthood to make some minor adjustments to her smile. Sometimes the third time is the charm!
8. Zendaya
Zendaya has corrected her teeth multiple times throughout her life. In her younger years she looked to orthodontic work to correct some minor crowding and slight rotations. Later in her career, her teeth had a noticeably widened arch and perfectly aligned spacing, leading many experts to believe that she completed additional orthodontic work.
9. FKA twigs
FKA twigs began wearing braces as an adult in August off 2022 and famously documented her orthodontic journey on Tik Tok. She has consistently reassured fans that she was using the braces to correct her bite, but had no intentions of closing her iconic front tooth gap.
10. Billie Eilish
The iconic singer underwent orthodontic treatment from around 2018 - 2020 to fix a minor gap and straighten her teeth. In some interviews Eilish referenced that it caused the slight lisp or a clicking sound that was often noticed when she spoke.
